They accepted a project, wrote an estimate, and understood their work was part of a larger project coordinating with other contractors. They text me the morning they’re suppose to be here and bail on my job. They gave me a story about how they’re not qualified to seal basement windows with block in other words they got a more valuable job and decided to cut out the cheap work of sealing off a block window. Weird experience. Was very communicative and knowledgeable at first, but soon it seemed to take several messages to get a response. Then after committing to the project and taking measurements, they said "OK we're going to order the parts for ya" and then ghosted me and became completely unresponsive. I told them I was on a tight timeline where this would be the bottleneck.
