Last Saturday, Tori came to my homestead and gave a Foraging Class for my family and friends. She is a dynamo. She prepared the porch early in the morning for our afternoon class in creating medicinal salves. After tea, we ventured into the woods to collect the treasures hidden in the dark woods. Tori is THE best guide among lots of good ones in Baxter State Park. Competent, patient, experienced, deeply dedicated to her career which includes enabling clients to develop a love for nature through learning about wildlife, sharing history & traditions about the park & rewarding us with the yummiest chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever eaten. Oh, yeah, we saw a moose while hiking to Chimney Pond!
Tori was an outstanding guide for our ascent of Katahdin. She demonstrated expert knowledge of the terrain and the mountain’s history; and tailored the entire experience to match our abilities. Her thoughtful approach ensured a safe, enjoyable, and successful hike. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive wilderness guide.
Tori provided the 3 of us with a great trip! Very knowledgeable about Mt. Katahdin, the history, the route and an excellent hiker/climber. She provided us with chicken and rice for lunch along with a special tea that was delicious. I've been guided across the globe and Tori met all the marks for a successful day.
Tori was an amazing guide. I have no doubt that i would not have ever reached the summit on my own without her! (I would not have made it past the slide) Worth every Penny I spent for sure!
