The Whitney Hotel in Boston is an ideal and comfortable location-Beacon Hill. Within walking distance to the Boston Commons, the gardens, the Charles River esplanade and Back Bay. Check-in was smooth, we arrived before the official check-in time and we were not charged an early check-in fee, which was great. The staff in restaurant/bar is really really slow. Ordered for breakfast the greek yoghurt with granola and took them more than 30min to serve it. And I was the only guest.. Same happed with a drink in the evening. They really should do something about it. Shame for the hotel.
We were in Boston for surgery and booked the Whitney Hotel based on its proximity to the medical center. The staff was so kind from the start of our check-in and throughout our stay (polite, kind and cheerful). We stayed in a suite. The room was very clean and the decor was very tasteful. Super plush! This place is special. My family and I had a wonderful visit. The amenities are top notch and very family friendly. We got a little travel kit for shampoo and conditioner for our toddler. They also had little snacks and soda water that you can just take. The kiddo got spoiled with treats (one night they had ice cream!) and soda water the whole time we were there.
