Calling this a 2-key Michelin place is a real laugh. The hotel is fine. But lacks any real taste, all finishes and furniture is cheap as hell and generic (think like millennial Home Goods) and the service is very mediocre especially the restaurant.
Sad to write this review, but we have been staying at The Whitney for our summer vacations to Boston/Cape Cod for the past several years and had great experiences, until our last stay in the summer of 2025. We stayed two nights on our way to and from Cape Cod, and it was a really disappointing stay both times. We rented a car that we planned to valet, and both times the process for valet was a disaster.
