I visited The White Wardrobe after a couple of days of prior wedding dress shopping. Nicola was amazing in helping me finally make that big decision and commit to a dress. Prior shopping had completely confused me but Nicola's no-nonsense, structured approach, great advice and style helped me make a decision and feel really confident in it. I would definitely recommend The White Wardrobe, Nicola was really helpful over email when I first contacted them and was just as helpful and friendly in store. She definitely knew her stuff and made good recommendations based on my type of wedding and my body type. You were able to look through all the dresses yourself and they had a really lovely selection. It felt very comfortable and relaxed in there.
I found my dress first time! I had a really great experience with Nicola, she's had over 20 years experience in the business and it shows. I didn't have too much of an idea of what I wanted going in but Nicola was efficient at helping narrow down what I wanted and making the most out of the appointment. Turned out the first dress I was drawn to was the perfect one! I’m so happy I found this gorgeous bridal shop. Nicola was just brilliant! I had been to 3 previous bridal shops before and just didn’t know what I was looking for and wasn’t offered much help so walked away confused and upset thinking I would never find “the dress”!! As soon as I walked into The White Wardrobe I was greated warmly and was asked questions about what I’d tried on before and Nicola explained to me why I hadn’t found “the one” and whittled everything down for me. White Wardrobe was, unfortunately, the most disappointing bridal experience I’ve had. I have only realised how bad it was since having others over the last month. The appointment felt rushed and impersonal from the very start. It was made clear we had only one hour, and there was no effort to make the experience feel special or welcoming.
