My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here the night before our wedding and we had an amazing time! The staff here were so sweet, welcoming and accommodating for our party. All of our guests were in awe at the beauty of the venue! Our engagement also happened here, so it was quite the “full-circle” moment I would recommend the White House on Washington to anyone looking to hold a beautiful event!
So glad we have this gem in mebane. The afternoon tea is impeccable. Delicious treats and tea and a beautiful house.
Visited on Dec 26th. Chasati was so wonderful to us. Upon on request, she guided us with some suggestions on teas. I trusted her opinion and asked her to surprise me with the tea selection. Her selection was spot on. The sweet and savory items were beautifully presented. The whole ambiance and atmosphere transports you to another era. Must experience this little gem!
The afternoon tea at The White House on Washington is delightful. The hostess, Julia, was so kind and helpful. We were celebrating a special occasion and this unique experience was the perfect location. There are many delicious teas to choose from and the sweet and savory treats were wonderful, as well. The house is beautiful with many original features which we enjoyed learning more about. I highly recommend The White House on Washington for a unique and delicious outing!
Lovely time for tea. What a terrific venue for an event! Julia served us and is delightful. She gave us the low down on the remodeling, some of the history and explained the fireplace was made of stones brought back for the original owners from western NC. Try to take a group.
