I took my $350 Royce Union bike into this shop for three things 1) fix a flat - Done. Tighten back break ? NOT DONE. Adjust derailleur, it clicked in the 2/7 to 3/4,5 range. NOT DONE. So...I took it back and happened to talk to the owner who got on the bike, rode it across the rather long shop, hit the back break, said, "Oh wow" as he barely stopped and then proceeded to look me straight in the eye and say something along the lines of, "well, ya know, this isn't a $1200 bike and big guys like you and me need both breaks to s... read more
