Classic hotel. Probably due for a cosmetic refresh, but no complaints.
Great location in the heart of Free Tram zone. The room was clean and bed was amazing! Although we wish amenities were more generous for the price of a 5 star hotel. We only got 1 tiny bottle of body lotion for our 4-night-stay. Also, their water in the paper box kind of smelled so we had to buy water from Coles during the stay.

フリンダースStreetの駅からすぐそばで観光にもビジネスにも良い立地。高層ではなくまわりを建物に囲まれているので眺望は限定的。上の方の階の南側の部屋からはSt Paul's Cathedral、その向こうにヤラ川の先の緑も見えますが、部屋数的にはごく僅か。入り口もビル街の中という感じ。そんな立地ですが、それでも吹き抜けのロビーは西側のちょっとした広場に面して目一杯採光していて、都会のど真ん中のオアシス、高級感を演出しています。全般に落ち着いてシックで、値段以上に高級な雰囲気が醸し出されていて、子連れでも大丈夫とは思いますが、大はしゃぎすると浮くだろうな、という感じ。お部屋もそこまで広くはないが落ち着いた良い雰囲気。時折、南隣の大聖堂の鐘の音が聞こえてくるとメルボルンにいるな、という気分にさせられます。朝食バフェがとても良かったです。キッチンが見えるデザインで品数も多く、作りたてのメニューも多くフレッシュでそれが日替わりで贅沢でした。この手のバフェはコストカットがあちこちにじみ出ていたりしますが、こちらのバフェは素晴らしかった。
