I’ve done staycations at a lot of the hotels in Vancouver and the Westin is the best for the resort feeling. The combination of the gorgeous outdoor pool, the location, outdoor games and activities (we saw a magic show and a falcon), and how much fun the H Tasting Lounge is (quality doesn’t suffer for the fun gimmicks) all combine to make it feel like a real resort vacation. We had amazing service from everyone we talked to and can’t wait to return!
Location is amazing and I can walk to Stanley park so easily. The room is old though but with a nice view. The hotel lobby bar has good drinks & Food.
The Westin Bayshore, I am not much of a review writer but I had to for this one. In particular the staff in the dining side by reception, we had a few that have a birthday. They surprised us with some desserts and a cotton candy cloud. The drinks (recommend a martini) were absolutely delicious and the staff were just total top notch. Thanks for the service.
Spent a few night at the Westin Bayshore as a guest. Amazing experience. Every single staff member we came into contact with made us feel like a million bucks. The service at the bar and restaurant was spectacular. Most of them felt like friends by the end of the week! The pool was resort style in every way. Immaculate vibes. I stayed with the family for 2 nights in August in a standard room with 2 double beds. There are quite a few Marriott options to choose from within Vancouver. The Westin seemed to have a slight edge over some others, with reviewers often praising the location near Stanley Park. STANDARD ROOM: the room itself was basic but fine.
