Small restaurant with great food and excellent service. The bacon wrapped and seafood souffle are some the best appetizers I’ve ever had. The hangar steak with truffle fries is a great entree.
Whatever you do, do NOT order the truffle fries here. Otherwise, you will forever carry the knowledge of just how crisp and perfect a fry can be, and no other will compare. I am thinking about it now, months later, hence the review. This place is expensive, but lovely for a special occasion. Took a star off because they did serve me the wrong entree but I didn’t want to waste food so didn’t mention it and the alternative dish was delicious too.
Elegant, warm atmosphere. I was going to order one of the several seafood options but decided to try a noodle/tofu/vegetable stirfry. It was so good. The service is excellent and the tables are not on top of one another.
Ann Arbor has many great restaurants in the city, and West End Grill is one of the best, in fact the food and service puts them at the top of my list.
Carey was the best waitress and Angel’s food is Michelin star worthy. The whole experience was first class elegance. The short ribs melted in my mouth and the mashed potatoes were yummy clouds of happiness.
