They are kicking my elderly mother out when she has no place to go, not happy at all. How can you send someone to the street instead of let them pay to stay while her children try to find a place for her to live? The communication while my mum has been at hospital has been absolutely atrocious, with no one knowing her history and getting any kind of social assessment has been frustrating. Super disappointed in the Wesley.

A while ago i went here because of a unique condition i had. They had diagnosed me with the wrong condition and I was given the wrong IV treatment medication, i didn't want to stay the night so that may have been my fault, but the doctor who came in was sure he was right saying i could leave that night. They also made us pay hundreds of dollars for all that. I had to go to the Mater in the city and they provided the correct treatment without paying a single dollar. What a truly awful hospital this is and unfortunately it took us three years and over $200,000 of private funding to realise this. If I can get one potential patient of this hospital to get a second opinion then this review is worth it. We got caught up in the rabbit hole of referral after referral to in house treatments and accepted this as the normal The wards are dated and grim and not conducive to any form of recovery. Despite being old, it’s a very good hospital. The service and care is exceptional. Big shout to Cece, Lucy, Hayley, and Brenda for their care and kindness.
