I was so disappointed in the standard of my room. A bar fridge and microwave that were so old they had turned yellow from white. A shower that had blutac around the shower handle indicated the standard. For $216/night! Would be great if they could upgrade the rooms as the location was fabulous- short walk to the ferry and shops, cafes and pub.
Although I have only given this a four stars for rooms this is only because they are renovating. The room was clean and had plenty of amenities. I cannot fault the great service that was extended to us. We were allowed into our rooms early and also given a late check out. Marcia was the manager who gave us these flexible conditions. Generous sized rooms, very comfortable bed, great location, free and easy parking, easy check-in. Great for a small family having a Brisbane stay!
