In March 2023, my dog Chico was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (cancer). The traditional veterinarian wanted to do an invasive spinal cord procedure as well as chemotherapy. I regret ever going to this “holistic”vet. The first time I took my 8 lb, 12 year old Yorkie, they took him to a different room and closed the door to draw his blood. I wondered why a holistic vet would do that, but figured they do that at regular vets, not Modern Animal ( another vet I take my pup to that believes in letting u stay with your pet because it’s less stressful for the pet and owner), which I thought would be also practiced at any Holistic vet.
