We booked here for a wedding officiant and placed a deposit. However we decided to go with a family member and someone we knew and trusted to officiate our wedding. I reached out and explained the situation and asked for the deposit back. They said no because the deposit was to “hold our spot,” but at this point a wedding spot and time was not decided. I was also never made aware that deposits were nonrefundable. I would understand if they kept the deposit if they told me that, but they didn’t. Now they are not answering my ... read more
