The Waypoint in Big Sky is an exceptional place to go. It’s just classy enough and just local enough to where it feels like a pleasant bridge between. Almost religiously get their bison strip And even do a very particular manner of asking them to not cut it for me. As a person who works in an industry, I’m aware of how annoying it can be to have a patron once to alter a menu, but they move with me with grace and I appreciate that. Although it was very late in the evening, Rondo and Christian were absolutely terrific! Highly recommended!
Never in my life have I felt more unwelcome. We were here about a month ago and had amazing service and amazing cocktails. Tonight was not the case. There is a film festival going on so we were told that’s why the employees were “on edge”. They were rude, unwelcoming, and awful though. Tried to walk up and order drinks and were told to sit down. The bison appetizer was amazing and the trout dinner was incredible, but their Indy Old Fashion was why we kept coming back.
Had a great experience at the Waypoint in Big Sky! Awesome atmosphere, great drinks, and everyone was super welcoming. Rondo was our bartender and absolutely crushed it! friendly, attentive, and made some fantastic cocktails. Definitely one of the spots we’ll be coming back to next time we’re in Big Sky!
