Owner JJ was working the front and his warmth enhanced this lovely cafe. So many sandwiches to choose from! We settled on the avocado croissant (add bacon), the Betty, the hammy Sammy and the Shirley. Tried the egg bites and the potato salad. Everything was delicious and sooo fresh. The bread and the croissants are excellent. Love the dijon aioli! Adds a Great layer of flavor. The lavender lemonade is especially good. And the Coco Loco ..and the lemon bar!! A wonderful place!!
We stopped in here for a quick caffeine fix while walking along the boardwalk, and it was a great find. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and you can tell it’s a popular spot for locals to just hang out and chat. I grabbed a coffee and sat by the window for a bit to watch the street activity, which was a nice break from the shops. I’d definitely stop by again next time I'm in town for a quiet morning.
Great sense of community here. The drinks are great and the service is good. Be patient here as everything is cooked to order so best not be in a rush when coming here. Otherwise, sit and relax and enjoy the conversations around.

We were on vacation, and because my husband's name is Connor, we had to come explore La Conner! We were hungry for lunch after the tulip festival, so we drove up here. There is some street parking, but we ended up parking in a public parking lot north of the cafe. The place is cute and charming, and it's decorated with art that is for sale.
