We had the absolute best stay at Waterford on Main and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The location is unbeatable. This is genuinely the best spot to stay on Main Beach. The views are incredible, it was so beautiful to wake up and watch the sunrise over the ocean. The car park was also fantastic and such an underrated bonus. We stayed at the Waterford on Main Beach for 10 nights over the Christmas period – wow, we will be back. Our family of 4 just loved our stay here. Emma at reception was so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was excellent with just the most amazing views. It had a great Nespresso machine with some starter pods, a well-equipped kitchen and it had all smart TVs with Foxtel which was great so we didn’t have to Chrome cast. I wouldn’t return. Despite the lovely views the apartment was dated and badly maintained. Also very greedy - you get one bath towel each and if you need one for your hair (ladies with long hair) then you pay for it as an extra! The aircon unit dripped on the carpet and couldn’t be used in the main bedroom. Holes in the door where a hook had come out and never repaired. Cupboard full of spares and broken parts.
