About this business

Specialties: Nestled in the village of Historic Yellow Springs, The Washington building and its grounds provide an excellent backdrop for weddings, showers, mitzvahs, and other celebrations! The Washington is my all time FAVORITE venue!! I am the owner and lead coordinator of my business, Beyond Blissful Events. All four options for the ceremony space are all stunning. Even on a rainy day it's still so beautiful there and some of cocktail hour can be outside because. of the covered patio! We came for a Wedding. The only complaint I have is that the staff should ask whether a person is done before they just take it away. Twice I had my drinks just disappear. I even took one in the Ladies room & put my drink & dessert on the bench thinking it was safe. Not even 5 minutes & they just took my drink & dessert. They should ask not just assume. They should ask if you are done. I know they are trying to clean up but it would be common courtesy to ask not just assume someone is done, especially in the Ladies room.
