Big oyster fan and they were stored and served at the perfect temperature. The sardines with an apple slaw, anchovy crostini, and steak tartare were spot on. WOW – AMAZING FOOD> The place is a bit small but it only adds to the charm. Love the french charm. The plates are perfectly sized and presented. We had an assortment of oysters and I then had the smoke trout with lentils, so perfect. A trek for a Bellevue Girl but well worth it if you can snag a parking spot
Charming Oyster Bar in Ballard – The Walrus and the Carpenter is a charming little bar in the one place left in Ballard where you can actually find a parking spot. Its the perfect spot for oysters, a couple of appetizers and champagne cocktails. Don't go expecting a full meal (unless you want to burn through everything on the fairly expsensive menu!)
