I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work for this private business !! I worked in this place for the past 6 months and never been so HAPPY and at PEACE to no longer be working here !! The owner Lisa is very unprofessional .. She don’t want anyone to work for her company that has braids & I feel like that’s racist cause only Black American Wear braids .. She hire people to work for her business that doesn’t have a PCA nor CNA license and have us doing things that we shouldn’t do and if we was working in a facility we will get in ... read more

RecommendedI have known Lisa since the spring of 2017 and have followed her journey in opening the Virginia House. Her passion is for giving the proper care to those battling with Alzheimer and holding on to your loved ones as long as humanly possible.
My Mother has been here for two months now. She is very happy with the care that she is receiving and enjoys the companionship with the caregivers at The Virginia House. Lisa the owner has done everything she said she would do. If you are looking for a place for your Mom and want the best care possible this is the place. We are ecstatic about The Virginia House!
