I have never written a restaurant review before, mainly because we are easy people to please. But I felt like this one I had to share. We went there for Valentines Day last night, and our experience was TERRIBLE. We were never told when we made reservations, that there would only be 4 entrees to choose from on a limited menu, and when we got there at 6:30, they were out of the surf and turf, the only thing on the limited menu that my husband wanted to eat. Service was great. Food was phenomenal! Being a sous chef trying numerous restaurants in Oshkosh searching for the best. I think I found it at the Vintage. I'll be back for sure! P.s. The Lamb Nachos are to die for!
Where do I start... Reading the reviews, my husband and I were very excited to try this place. We are both from bigger cities where fine dining and cuisine are common place. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means a food snob. Give me some BBQ on a bun any day, but I believe I know a good establishment from one that is simply posing.
