In a addition to what Diana Lewis posted, dad‘s health deteriorated significantly while he was there. He was unable to move in his bed. And his mental state was also bad. I am happy to say we have moved him out of villas at Sunny acres and into a place that seems to provide better care. His mental state is 100% better And he has the mobility tools to help him move around. I would not recommend anyone putting their loved ones in the Villas at Sunny Acres.
Sunny Acres cares more about their policies than the independence of their residents. My dad has had many strokes. He has always used a cane on his bed to get up. PT, Social worker, ombudsman, and his doctor all supported us. They wouldn’t budge. I wouldn’t send anyone I love to this place. It’s too bad. I’m sure there are people that work there are good people and care, but their “big shots” that call the shots, shouldn’t have a job. We finally got him out of there to a place that allows the cane. I've lived here for almost a year and couldn't imagine a place like this existed. I'm so very happy here I live in the assisted living part of the campus and find it to be a place I have been able to heal mind, body and soul. There's nothing I can say that is questionable or undesirable. I am home

I have worked at The Villas at Sunny Acres for 41 years. I have had 3 of my family members live there, and 9 family members that have worked there. This is a great place to live and work.
The Villas At Sunny Acres is a wonderful place. The staff is also wonderful and caring. Clean atmosphere. Fun activities. Just an over all great place for your loved ones.
Rhonda is a evil woman with no heart, along with the rest of management here!
