A very clean and updated community. They have great staff who care deeply about those in need
They are extremely understaffed. The administrator Eli treats patients as if they're subhuman, and never attends meetings held to discuss the patients' concerns. There is no recourse for Eli's unprofessionalism and harassment towards patients. Patients can be heard screaming and begging for help at all hours, but there are at least 12 patients to each aid. The staff will share private information about patients and are mistake-prone. Extremely unprofessional, hellish place. Please do not bring your loved ones here.
An absolute dive. I have hurt ankles (I’m actually wearing a brace on my left foot/ankle) and they give me a wheelchair with no foot support. I have to hold my feet in the air while wheeling myself through the halls. No one helps. Edit: yesterday an employee added leg supports to the wheelchair that was missing them. Sadly, she forgot to lock the chair. When I got up to grab the chair and head to the bathroom, it took off and I fell to the floor tearing open my forehead and brow ridge. Don’t send your family elders here!! I’m begging you not too. My father Curtis Brewer was a reoccurring patient here. I remember he would call me and tell me how they were abusing him not cleaning him properly, wouldn’t let him go outside for fresh air, neglecting every single of his needs he use to beg me to take him out of their and I should of even against doctors orders. I will calling the state on this facility and hopefully they are shut down !
The Villas at St. Louis Park is a beautiful facility and has some of the best staff I've ever seen. Everyone who works there is extremely caring and extremely attentive to each resident knowing them all by name and knows them all on a personal level while ensuring they are getting the best care they need. I highly recommend sending your loved one here if they need a higher level of care.
