Our stay got off to a rough start because one of the receptionists was extremely rude during check-in and was just as unfriendly again at checkout. Thankfully, another receptionist we interacted with was nice. When guests are paying close to $1,000 a night, that first impression really matters, and it was disappointing. We stayed in one of the Village units, and I have to say the online photos were a bit misleading. We were very disappointed. We did not realize this was a secondary location, about 1 mile driving to the main property - and most importantly for us, not walkable to the beach. The walls are very thin – we did not know the people next-door, but we might as well have, since we’ve learned quite a bit about them during our stay. 🤷. Absolutely an amazing place. Once you settle in nicely the Ocean terrace Bar is the place to be with great bartender 😉 and good food and company
