“I tried Helai at Village Salon Spa for the first time today and wow—best haircut I’ve had in all of Durham Region. Truly above-average skill. Her layering in the back and front was flawless, and the result rivals expensive Toronto salons (at a much more reasonable price). On top of that, she’s warm, calming, and genuinely lovely. I’ve finally found my stylist and I’ll be seeing her from now on.”
I had the pleasure of having Meera work on my hair and I’m so happy with how it turned out. She really listened to what I wanted, gave me some great suggestions, and the end result is amazing. My hair feels super healthy and looks exactly the way I pictured it. Definitely recommend booking with her!
My family and I have been coming to this salon for years and always had great experiences with Sam and Chloe. Unfortunately, my recent appointment with Meera was very disappointing. Despite clearly explaining that I wanted long layers and no short, choppy cuts, she ignored my request and did the opposite. When I raised my concerns, she insisted she wasn’t wrong.
