Best Food in Denver – The village cork sets me into relax mode as soon as I walk in! Its a great place to go with some girlfriends or on a date they have a great wine list that changes often, and a great menu with local grown food! Still The Best – I havnt been into the village cork in about 2 years until I got an e-mail telling me to rediscover the village cork! So me and my wife went back on our tuesday date night! Amazing Little Bistro – This quaint bistro is straight from france in the 1950's with a menu that serves local grown and raised food cook with a rustic italian flare as the Chef put it. I had the beef shor ribs. Great Potential, Horrible Service! – My girlfriend and I live in the neighborhood and were really looking forward to trying this place out. We decided to go one night for desert and a couple glasses of wine. Just Rude! – I saw the cute, quaint little bistro on the corner and on a whim decided to stop in. After being seated by a very pleasant woman I quickly fell in love with the place, or so I thought. New Chef On Pearl – Me and my husband have been going to the village cork for about a year now and we love it! Great wines at resonable prices, owner is on site and a pleasure to talk to. In addition they just Hired a new chef and I love his name (Samir). We had a roasted butternut squash rissoto with shrimp and the apple and cranberry bread pudding. Nice and Quaint – Great neighborhood place. I like the Village Cork mostly for the atmosphere and the small plates. The wine selection is okay--all pretty moderately priced--which is nice for a dinner/restaurant atmosphere but I like to go to a wine bar to taste a glass or two of wine that I wouldn't take a chance on at dinner--and I don't find that here. Still, it is a great place to meet friends and nibble on delicious, fresh small plates and cheeses. It's a very small, intimate place and very cozy.
Lovely restaurant with romantic ambience – My husband and I had a nice, romantic evening at the Village Cork. The wines and pate and cheese dishes were delicious. The music is great, classic jazz vocal tunes. Interior decoration is very romantic. Great place for leaning back, relaxing. The server was courteous and helpful. We will be back.
Best Wine Bar Perfect for special events, parties, etc. Excellent appetizers and to die for desserts. All served with a glass of wine! The wine list is unique and endless. A great little neighborhood place to relax at the end of the day.
