Was in the hospital with two surgeries. Twenty four days I come home to a NASTY patio home. Now what kind of a place does this to their people? This place is just filthy. And the manager calls us her family. Well I feel sorry for her real family if this is true.
I want to brag on our food here at Southlake. I just finished lunch and what a lunch it was. We had a choice of HAMBURGER STEAK or SHRIMP AND GRITS. I chose the shrimp and grits, wise decision. It was awesome and PRESATION "WOW" I thought I was in a 5 star hotel. My hat is off to Tony, our MASTER CHEF he just keeps on surprising us every week !
I will be attending the upcoming Wine Down & Paint Event July 27th at 5:30pm. Beautiful community offering independent care.
My experiences with/by my friends who were or still are there are not good. Poor management, poor ethics from leadership while demanding the opposite from staff, poor decision making regarding the elderly, and treating residents like they don't matter when they do not get what they pay for.
I personally think it's an exceptional environment and I would recommend to any senior
I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Village at Southlake is where my mother is living right now. She chose it several years ago based on recommendations and proximity to relatives. I have a sister living up there, and it is a very nice facility. It?s very modern and very clean. It has been under a couple of different managements in the last few years, but I think my mother -- and this will be her third year -- is satisfied with it. After viewing some places down in the Myrtle Beach area.
