Very unprofessional. Staff only speaks to those they know not agency staff. Managers are lazy and will not physically jump in to help on the floor….But will do the behind the scenes office work only. No one will have your back. Protect your license here. There is no staff accountability or policies written in place just here-say. No one will be punctual giving report or allowing u to leave. Just a land where they make up the rules. rehab was the worst.
The therapist in the rehab are excellent at The Village at Rockville. I would absolutely recommend rehabilitation here. I’m going home tomorrow in much better condition then when I arrived a month ago.
Was so pleased to remain in such a comfortable setting for Rehab - about 3 weeks. The food was delightful - served nicely. There was even staff to help select the choices for each meal. The nursing staff was superb and the same with the aides. Housekeeping was remarkable - so clean and meticulous daily. Went from barely being able to get out of bed alone to being fully recovered and comfortable in walking back to my residence.
I pulled my loved one out of there just in time! The service is a mixed bag—some staff are well-trained and knowledgeable, while others are disorganized and uncaring. Overall, the nursing staff-to-patient ratio is low, and response times to needs are extremely slow. When you press the help button from the bed, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. Bottom line: a 'skilled nursing facility' like this should be anyone's last resort.
After reviewing these recommendations, it would appear that Village of Rockville takes the time reply to 5 stars but not to 1 stars. Why? I m still in the fence about this place. Please advise
