Villa was very clean but very dated and could use an extreme makeover. You can tell somethings are newer like paint and carpet but everything else just seems dated. Grounds were well kept. Pool is small and seems dated as well. Location is great. Short walk to tennis/pickleball center, General store and Alexander’s. 4 min bike ride to the beach maybe 12 min walk. Some villas right on the golf course others on a canal. Many great bike trails throughout Palmetto Dunes.
Just came back and had to leave early due to Hurricane Debby and how bad the unit was. Check in lady was very nice. However everything was dated - felt like I stepped back into the 80s - unit was not clean - dead bugs on the floor and mosquitos flying all inside. Not sure why we were placed in a cottage (very small unit) where the kitchenette was not usable. Couldn't even wash a pan (pictures below). Living Rm/Kitchen was very tight. We love this place. Having been visiting there for the last 40 years. If your interested in spending a week there on week 29 DM me...
It's centrally located. You can walk to the fantastic tennis/pickleball facility. Our view was of parking lot. Had to keep blinds drawn as people in other units and passersby could look inside. Unit itself was clean. There is no shuttle to the beach.
