Stayed here from 1st to 7th September with four other families and all of us had major issues. Our apartment was dirty, the bathroom had mould around the toilet and bedroom curtains had mould, the washing machine was mouldy, and the mattress was stained yellow with ill-fitting sheets. Only two toilet rolls were provided for a family of four for seven days, and the cupboards were covered in thick dust. Other families in our group experienced the same problems, some even worse. Good location in the heart of Burleigh. Unfortunately we were not provided with blankets just croquet style cotton hospital cover. We asked again and were told to put our heating up. Spent the two nights freezing sleeping under our coats. Owners didn’t care. Apartment unclean, shower mouldy, rusted bin next to toilet, PowerPoint coming off the wall. The Village is the perfect place to stay with a family. We have been staying here for over 10 years now and can't beat the location, space in apartments and compatible pricing. The facilities are immaculate and gardens beautiful. You feel safe being in the heart of Burleigh and have everything at your fingertips (including the Beach). Would highly recommend.
A fantastic location that is our go to accommodation in Burleigh. Location is super convenient to shops, restaurants, beach and supermarket. Ideal for families as it’s quiet after 10pm. Pool, spa and bbq area give a resort feel. Rooms always well appointed and clean. Management always super helpful. Can’t go wrong staying at The Village.
The property manager Darren is rude and unhelpful , not family friendly at all. Witnessed him abuse an elderly lady resident when she asked if a package had been delivered to reception.
