We ordered a takeaway over a week ago. Paid by card on the Phone. The food was bland, tasted awful. Next day I released The charged me twice. Notified them immediately. They were supposed to check their account/statement and get back to us, they still have not. I will wait a few more days afterwards I will inform the authority.
The delivery was perfect, came just when they said it would. Ordered 3 curries, chicken vindaloo , lamb korma and prawn tikka masala. Genuinely the worst curry I’ve had for a long time. All source and no meat, loads of sugar ll I would defiantly not recommend it
I recently ordered from Village Takeaway and was very impressed with the quality of the Indian cuisine. The service was friendly and efficient, and my order was prepared on time. It's clear that they take pride in their food and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Village Takeaway to anyone looking for tasty, authentic Indian food. I'll definitely be ordering again!
I ordered on 13th April 2026. I ordered a lamb biriyani and poppadoms with mint yogurt. On consumption of the food it tasted like something bought from a supermarket, and not something authentically cooked. I was fine overnight and woke up the following morning with nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and a high temperature - I went to the doctors and it was confirmed as food poisoning.
