Toured this community earlier this week. The upgrades done and in process are a great enhancement. Residents look happy. I love the fact that even though it's independent living they offer supportive care services that allow residents age in place longer, in many instances to end of life.
Beautifully updated community! Had the pleasure of touring with Nick a few weeks ago. This community has a lot to offer!
I toured this community yesterday and was impressed by the upgrades they made. It had a real home like feel. I would highly recommend this community to anyone who was looking to place their loved one in an IL.
I would like to give a big thank you to the staff for the outstanding job they did after I was hospitalized. After I came home that night on March 1, 2024, Mary Jane the executive Director came into my room and ask if I wanted anything. I told her I would like to have a peanut butter jelly sandwich and she went and got me one. I thought I could eat it, but I did not. Update 8/18/2023 I can no longer recommend the Villa at Riverwood. My 79-year old parents moved in January 2021 after Mom was diagnosed with vascular dementia. The Villa could be an amazing place, but it's run inefficient and lacks competence. I believe it is rooted in the fact that they are owned by a for-profit corporation named 5 Star. For all my efforts to speak to contact corporate, every big wig has refused to return a phone call and email. It is a total dismissal.
