if you are going to an event for an islander, do NOT let them scam you into paying double for a "meet & greet." unfortunately, i paid $70 for two tickets to meet gabe from this past season, and neither of us were able to get a photo with him. whether i should've even paid that much to meet a love islander in the first place is arguable—but lesson learned. you pay double to get the same experience you would've had if you only paid entry, so save the trouble. none of this is gabe's fault. this was so weirdly set up. he showed ... read more
We were so disappointed by our experience watching Love Island at the Villa. The social media image is not AT ALL accurate to the reality of this dive. First of all, it had to be over 100 degrees in there & only one of the 4 ceiling fans is running. Everyone was dripping with sweat. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced, $25 apiece after the mandatory 20% tip which was not disclosed. I wouldn’t come back here, their specialty drinks were $15 then $19 “after tax” without the tip, the connecting bar gave me an amazing mango drink for only $9. They had food at the front, chicken tenders, truffle fries, and a salad. The chicken was good, but again $14 for just a couple chicken tenders from a food heater outside, not really food I expect from a bar.
