I moved in to this place just because they offered a short term lease, but I was not aware of what I was going to go through. The apartment is under renovation, and the management decided they will do pre-work in my bedroom for the future washers and dryers, due to which I lost the closet in the room and all my things are stacked on the floor, my table etc. Construction work will produce some dust, agreed, but doesn't a resident deserve his place cleaned after the days work? The apartment is poorly managed. Have been facing a series of horrible experiences from the day I moved in. * The day I moved in , I found the apartment was not cleaned. Had to stay out couple of days. The management said they somehow missed it. * They provide notices for water shut offs/maintenance but dont seem to follow it. * They had given notice for scheduled water shut off but they shut it off a day before the scheduled day. I have lived here five years. Did a lot of research first and this place is most affordable retirement/assisted living home in Seattle area. My unit is large, great view, healthy dining choices, bus stops out front and another near rear exit. Minutes from UW, downtown, and a new park next door. HUGE patio with view. I have MS and this is just perfect for me. My own balcony, hardwood floors, quiet, and the residents are just terrific! I have made life long friends here.
