Doesn't return deposit. Charging me for longer than lease agreement dictates. Yea alarms go off every time someone cooks. I could hear it in my unit, I could hear alarm in my neighbor's unit ringing due to cooking. Half the rooms in 4 man units don't have windows.
Though I signed a lease here in 2020, I just moved out this July 31st, 2022. I rented because it was a nice location and would be a good option for living through the pandemic (better than a dorm, just more frustrating). I lived on the 5th floor and the view was nice and the apartment was BRAND NEW, however they charged more rent to live on the 5th floor, because we apparently go access to a roof top patio, which was promised in 2020, and then NEVER finished and we were never granted access to this patio. Do not sign a lease with The View on Pavey Square!!! My experience with the company has been awful and although I am not longer a resident, I am still batteling with employees over my security deposit. My lease was terminated July 31st 2021. When I initially received my security deposit statement, my roommate and I were accused of damaging an armchair upon move-out. Although I had proof that the damage was not caused by us, (timestamps and all) weeks went by before we heard any reply. When our full deposit was given back to ... read more
