I am not sure how this place has high ratings. Probably because people are inexperienced with High Tea. I will say that the place is crowded. But it is clean and decorated tastefully. There is a small gift shop. For the high tea experience though? The tea was good. I got the Buckingham Palace and it was a typical Earl Grey tea. Nothing too special. The food? Bland. I had such a wonderful experience at the Victorian Lady. I took my mother there for tea and we both loved it. The tea room was beautiful and cozy, the tea selection was very good (I loved the Buckingham Palace), and the food was excellent! I can honestly say I have never liked a single scone that I've ever tried but the one I had at the Victorian Lady was so good that I was sad when it was gone. I can't wait to go back!
We showered my future daughter-in-law at the Victorian Lady of Academy Hill and everything was perfect! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the tea and food served were delicious. Highly recommend!
