The house has parking in the back. It was quite cozy inside. Just enough space for a couple tables so they tell you to try and keep your visit to about an hour (or under). Their selection of teas was good however I was not fully aware of the prices until we were checking out...$40/person seems a bit high for 1 pot of tea and some snacks.
I can't give enough praise to Victorian Lady. I've gone almost yearly for the past 6 or so years and it is always beautiful with excellent service. We love to shop as well. It's a full experience with delicious food as well, and I never leave hungry! You can buy tea in addition to all of the other lovely things. Carol is an excellent host. I tell all my friends! Easy and accessible parking in lot next door as well. Be sure to call in advance for a reservation as it fills up fast, and for good reason!
The Victorian Lady of Academy Hills never ceases to please me. Or the friends I sometimes bring here. All are amazed as they never knew of this. It's afternoon tea, but it's also like a step back in time. The tea is always great, as are the appetizers, main course, and dessert. Highly recomnebded. But one needs a reservation.
I am not sure how this place has high ratings. Probably because people are inexperienced with High Tea. I will say that the place is crowded. But it is clean and decorated tastefully. There is a small gift shop. For the high tea experience though? The tea was good. I got the Buckingham Palace and it was a typical Earl Grey tea. Nothing too special. The food? Bland.
