I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Feldman, Jessica, and the entire team at the Veterinary Behavioral Center. They have really helped my cat, who has struggled with severe anxiety and fear-based aggression for most of his life. He would only allow me to handle and care for him. Even my husband was afraid of him, and cat-sitting for travel was basically impossible. I can't say enough great things about the Veterinary Behavior Center. When we started at VBC, our dog, Olive, was afraid of any human she didn't know, and would bark at them incessantly to get them to go away. The team at VBC came up with a thoughtful plan to reduce Olive's stress by a) trying out a sequence of medications to see what Olive responded to best, and b) then gradually and systematically exposing her to new humans and their common movements (Olive weirdly hated it when people stood up from a sitting position) by ... read more
