The venue is beautiful and was the perfect location! However, I cannot offer 5 stars because the sound system here nearly ruined my reception. The ceremony music and first dances were incredibly quiet and poor quality from the overhead speakers; then 5 minutes into the dance floor opening up, the speakers blew completely. It took half an hour to rectify the situation with a standing speaker, which happened to be the half hour that I had scheduled our videographer to capture dance floor footage. As a wedding guest, this was a nice space. Bright and easy to navigate, plenty big while also feeling intimate. The acoustics could use some help - voices added up quickly to drown out even the DJ at times. I often couldn't hear people who were seated next to me. The outdoor space is a nice reprieve from the noise if weather permits use of it.
It was an underwhelming experience. My daughter wedding was held there and it missed the mark for eligance. My decorator had to deal with wrinkled tablecloths and dirty floors. The excuses why were just not enough. We had the ventue the entire day which was a plus however my daughter was responsible for opening and we did not see the manager until 4pm. It has the potential to be a 5star place it just wasn't for us.
It's a great venue for any occasion
As soon as we toured this venue, we knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding. The Ventura manages to be both stunning and surprisingly affordable. It felt like a luxury experience. The staff was attentive and everything flowed perfectly. There was miscommunication about our ceremony chairs, but everything was made right. We are happy we chose The Ventura for our wedding day.
