Came for a blow out, ended up with a silk press! I have struggled to find an authentic blowout since moving to Westchester from NYC. Amberly took her time with my hair and was very attentive and gentle. I love her work and will definitely be back.
They don’t know how to do natural type 4 hair. I detangled my hair before I went to the salon, but the way the person washed my hair tangled it very badly. FYI, my hair is never tangled, and it definitely doesn’t ever feel tangled after a conditioning treatment. My hair generally takes about 15-20 minutes to wash and detangle it. It’s very easy to do. When I told Stephanie, she said “curly hair is supposed to get tangled after wetting it.” I have had natural hair all my life, and it has never gotten tangled after I washed it... read more
