Wow, what a disappointment. I have no idea what happened to this place but it’s awful. We’ve been many times before and it just keeps going downhill. I got the salmon. It was small, overcooked, and had no flavor. The sides were nonexistent. The mussels were tiny and several of them were closed. The table next to us was so loud and spraying hairspray on each other for some reason. Never again.
Dinner was delightful (especially my husband's rockfish) but I loved the French Onion soup even more. Fun, lively atmosphere under the stars with all.ages. We'll be back
Despite not living in the area, we’ve managed to dine at The Valley Inn three times since March. In March, I had a delectable crabcake sandwich and opted to order it again when there for my husband’s birthday, only the second time I ordered the crabcake entree which came with two sides. Service was “meh” the first time when I was mislead into thinking that a burger that I ordered for my daughter was from the kid’s menu - a menu that they didn’t have available at the time.
