I took my 13-year-old Maine Coon in to Urban Pet for grooming and mat removal, and it was the best experience we've ever had with a groomer. He came home calm and happy, which is unusual when he's been to the groomer. Katrina stripped out all of his undercoat, so he'll be cooler this summer and won't shed nearly as much, which will make a huge difference in my workload, because usually it's like a fluff-bomb has been set off in the house - it gets on the walls, in the fridge, everywhere.
