I had a terrible experience with the urban centre. I was here as set up crew for the vendor market which had taken place December 7th 2024. The management was extremely unprofessional and dishonest. They hosted an event the night before ,the place full of cigarette and weed roaches. I heard that a fundraising event on Sat Dec 7 was a total disaster due to the management of the building. Building was dirty with no heat or lighting when the organizer arrived to set up for the day. And cops had to be called when management confronted the organizer. Be careful to read reviews on locations as they are not all professionally run!
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the management at the Urban Center at 70 Bongard Avenue. I was hired by an organizer to help assist with a market they rented the space for on Saturday, December 7th. When I arrived at 5:45 a.m. to help with setup, I was shocked to find the venue in complete disarray.
