I don't think I could've been more disappointed by what should have been a simple and affordable experience shipping 2 items domestically. The line was short, only 3 people but we were waiting for 20 minutes, and that's with the fact that one customer ahead of us and one behind us walked out due to the ridiculous wait. Simply wanted to send 2 small canvases to California, quoted $60 by the sales associate who could clearly tell we were frustrated to the point we were ready to leave. Freight shipment was an all new experience for me, but Tim at the Mason/Kings Mills UPS Store walked me through the process over the phone and set me up for perfect success. We had a slab of Massachusetts granite harvested by a quarry there to act ultimately as the base for a full-size bronze statue being made of Dr. Joseph Warren, namesake of our county. When calling this store, I was immediately placed on hold and left on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. Drove to the store while on hold. Upon arriving there were no customers and I was told that they would not notarize a form after 2pm because they were way too busy! I arrived at 2:05 pm. Again, no customers. If they had answered my call, I would not have cared but the guy who I talked to purposely put me on hold knowing he would not answer my call.
