I've never had a clue what checking in would result in. I don't recommend this property .
I do not recommend The Upper Pass Lodge and booking.com. They don’t even deserve 1 star. I booked a room for my support animal and I through booking.com And was not told that the check-in time was until 8 PM. I called the Upper Pass Lodge the next day, and Vince told me They did not even have a pet friendly room available, and booking.com did not provide my contact information so that he couldn’t even contact me to let me know that the room wasn’t even available. Rooms were very spacious and they also had a bunk bed along with 2 double beds. Only different thing was that they do not do check in after 8 PM which I learned the hard way. They have a small gift shop and also a little restaurant. They don't have AC in the rooms. They have split Ac which was programmed to heat.
Staff is phenomenal! Large rooms, pet friendly, great price. Only drawbacks are limited breakfast options nearby (none on-site), no perks such as microwaves or mini fridges in rooms, and limited control of heating/cooling in rooms (air conditioning was turned off by late September, which made the rooms warm during the day), but for the price it's not a bad place to stay.
