The staff at this facility are outstanding. Each and every one of them. The diet department is lacking . Of the 15 meals there meals maybe five have been correct. They have worked hard to accommodate my many allergens but, what is order often is not what I get. The time is taken to sit with the patient and do the order, it is repeated back and still the meal arrives incorrect. One meal I had a single hamburger patty but no veg. Tonight’s supper should have been chicken, green beans and carrots with a slice of bread and grape... read more
I cannot say enough good things about this place! The PT is hard and they push you ( that’s good ) I have been here nearly a month and have made so much progress. My experience at KU rehab has been wonderful. I was very unsure of the rehab but they are excellent. I went not able to walk and after 1 week I am standing, walking, and cooking. I would recommend KU rehab to anyone that needs it.
My husband was a patient in the KU inpatient rehabilitation hospital for 12 days. I am a retired nurse so I am familiar with good care, and bad care. My husband had WONDERFUL care. He was treated with compassion and kindness as well as top notch professionalism. An extra big thank you to Annie, Allyson, Gretchen and Mollie, as well as Alex who brought my husbands meals with a smile on his face. I hope you all read this, and thanks once again from both my husband and myself. S. Smith
Not with this place!! Not sure if they’re short of help, or what’s going on, there are no nurses around my husband needed help and I’m running up and down the hallway trying to find somebody!!! Nurse alarm going off for about 20 minutes, dinner was supposed to be starting at 4:30 is now 520 and nobody is around…so disappointed!! I expected better
