Wildly inconsistent information given by their scheduling team as you talk to different people. Suspect some questionable work ethics and enthusiasm in speaking with them. Avoid these guys if you can. I am 5 calls in, and receiving different answers and expectations each time. 3 thumbs down.
First let me say this. DR Molloy is by far one of the nicest and most educated doctors that actually care. He listens well his bed side manner is great. If your looking for a above great GI Dr please talk to him you won’t be disappointed
This is not the hospital I chose and I didn't pick the doctor instead I am being forced to be seen here. I had chosen a local doctor in Lawrence that I assumed was through the hospital in Lawrence. That doctor sends you to KU for a procedure and I figured maybe the Lawrence hospital didn't have the tools or something. I was not happy having to wake up at 5 in the morning to drive all the way to KC for a procedure. I was seen by Dr.Kanakadandi. It was the worst experience I've ever received and I have stage 3 cancer and never experienced the very worst health care. I have a clogged artery in my stomach to where I can not eat only soft food it was not my primary doctor fault that they put me in with him because I need surgery it was their screw up. This doctor I would advise never go to he wants ur insurance he wanted me to do a 2 hr breath test to see if I need a antibiotics for my stomach rubbing insurance is all he does. I have lost 60 lbs in 6 months. I didn't want to! My PCP is suggesting a feeding tube which I happen to agree with. I am severely malnourished and it's not getting better. To say that I'm not feeling good is a huge misunderstatement. The providers at the GI Clinic disagree with the idea of a feeding tube. My particular provider at the GI Clinic, honestly I don't know what she's thinking or looking at. She told me about the vast improvements I've made under her care.
