Very helpful staff! I was also hesitant to visit this store because of the bad reviews. There seemed to be two common themes (1. If you look like you don't have a lot of money, you are snubbed and 2. They push you to buy a bigger dress than you really need). We went in the store this weekend to shop for bridesmaid dresses. We did have an appointment, and were given Megan's full attention. Ultimate Bride was voted "The Best" by The Knot Great experience and I highly recommend this salon. I found them after checking with the Knot Magazine and reading that brides in the St. Louis region voted Ultimate Bride "the best" bridal salon. Great selection and personal service.
Ultimate Bride is Terrific! The best selection and GREAT Service. I highly recommend them! They carry upscale dresses in the $1,000 to $5,000 price range. Many designer names with a good selection "in stock."

Don't waste your time Though they do have a great selection of gowns, their staff is far below average. Plus, the consumer is certainly paying for their selection - the average person cannot easily afford to buy there. I went to The Ultimate Bride to purchase my maid of honor dress. When I ordered my size, the saleslady told me that I "should take up walking to lose weight." I wasn't overweight and I'm not now, but after that experience I would not return there. Expensive This place was nice. The gowns are all over $1000 and not many are around that price. If you are looking to spend a lot they seem knowledgable and helpful.
They were very rude!! I went to this store to look for brides maids dresses. They were not helpful and they were very rude to me! This place has a lot of very expensive merchandise and they made me feel like I was not good enough to shop at their store. I know they do prom dresses to. I do not like this place because they made what should have been a fun experience, a horrible experience. I felt that they were very snotty. PROS: They have very high end gowns. CONS: They are very rude!
