Visiting from Melbourne when my son suddenly became ill with a non-blanching rash — a very scary situation for any parent. the rudest emergency staff! our doctor sent info for our 5 year old to them instead of byron i called to get the information while at byron ED and got told by the first person who was actually nice they had it then she transferred me and not one person helped they all said it wasn't their job i got transferred so many times it was ridiculous until the phone rang out and stopped ringing! with a 5 year old and my 2.5 year old at hospital sick and worried and none of them could just type his name into a computer and read the te... read more

I was told by my doctor to go to the emergency department at Tweed Valley Hospital. The doctor who was supposed to handle my problem was absolutely obnoxious and sent me away. Definitely in need of some customer relations training. If you can't handle the job "LEAVE" or work on your "ATTITUDE". You are not GOD, get of the CROSS we need the wood. We have all heard of Dr Dolittle but this was Dr Donothing.
