Was told to present at the Emergency department at 8am for a nose reduction so nil by mouth….. Only to sit & wait 3hrs before I was seen by the ENT doctor for 5 minutes then told there is nothing they can do because I have deviated septum which can’t be done for 6 months by a specialist doctor….. Was very disappointing

I called the mental health line for my neighbour after being directed here by local police. "Jane" from the Tweed Valley Hospital call centre (option 1) stated mental health issues are a matter for police. After I explained that the police themselves told me to call the hospital and I dont know who to contact for help with my neighbours condition worsening, her response was "I can't change the world, that's not my problem. i visited tweed valley hospital to see the ENT department .the service from the ENT was excellent by all staff and the two doctors were so good

Main lobby young receptionist thought it would be the best way to get paid while not doing her job was to pretend she was on a phone call without speaking one word for a full 10 mins while I was still waiting for her.. she wasn’t doing anything, just slumped back in the chair and taped her ear piece and glanced her eyes at me.. not typing anything, just looking at the computer screen, not talking… I think she needs to find a new job.
