Dennis Long installed 6 antique doors and decorative trim in our home. The results were perfect! Highly recommend him.
We have an open, narrow space upstairs that we had always wanted to improve into a workspace and family area. We called The Trim Guy, and they got to work on a beautiful built-in that perfectly fits in our tight space. It looks so good and really adds aesthetic value to our home. It’s well made, and it went up surprisingly quickly — it took under a week from start to finish. And the guys were really nice; they would greet my overly friendly dog every day and cleaned up everything as they went. I would highly recommend!
I hate to leave a bad review, but maybe it will help someone else. Dennis came recommended to install crown molding and baseboards in a master bedroom. The absolute worst trim work I have ever seen/experienced. I spent THREE FULL days repairing his work, even had to re-nail several pieces before caulking & painting. Nothing lined up, miters had big gaps, nails and staples not sunk… there was actually one piece of trim where he used 16 (SIXTEEN!!!) staples on a 1inch by 6 inch area span!! I am convinced there is no construction project that Dennis Long and his crew cannot handle. He is the consummate building professional. He first built an RV cover for us that far exceeded our expectations. Then we pressed him into building a 200 sq ft structure to house a steam room/shower, laundry area, dressing area, sitting area, and small kitchen with sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer drawers.
