We booked a spa at The Houstonian Hotel and the Trellis Spa as a Mother’s Day gift from my husband. I am having hard time understanding how they tell my card is expired after I send my mother there ON MOTHERS DAY! In my absence my mom let me know the card was expired per the lady at the front desk. Which it wasn’t. Her service was over and made her look very uncomfortable. I don’t understand how this all happened but the miscommunication was something I do not understand and neither did the lady at the front desk. I arrived to the spa 7 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I was late because I spent almost 20 minutes looking for parking as there is literally no signage indicating where to park for the spa entrance. I had to ask 4 different employees before I was finally directed to the lot. One employee was new and didn't know, another didn't speak English and another just signaled with her hand pointing in an ambiguous direction. I was at the Trellis Spa at the Houstonians in Houston, yesterday evening for a facial I’m very disappointed & upset with the mediocre service, I was given they gave me a robe & slippers to change myself & a locker with a combination code to put my belongs trusting that it was safe to my surprise I had 1500 in cash & when I finished with my facial I tried to open my locker I just couldn’t open it because someone already tampered my locker & I had to call the lady in charged to I open it because my combination couldn’t open i... read more

I was coming here once a month for almost a year, always had a great experience even tho most of the times I didn’t even use the amenities, however I was supposed to come in today but my baby spent a rough night with fever and body aches (which I understand is not their problem) so I called first time when they open to initially reschedule for next week same time, they told me they will charge 100% of the service regardless, that’s insane, considering their massages price range start at almost $300.
